Safety

JCS takes great pride in our commitment to safety in every project we undertake. We ensure that all of our work and equipment is compliant with OSHA guidelines. In addition all of our professionals complete classroom and field safety training programs sanctioned by the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA). This ensures the safety of your company as well as ours.

The Safety-Training program is mandatory for all JCS employees and supervisors. This program reviews OSHA and ANSI standards and highlights the proper use of the following equipment:

• Chemicals: Proper use and disposal
• Controlled descent equipment
• Ladders and ladder work
• Mobile lifts
• Permanent installations
• Rescue
• Suspended scaffolding
• Tower scaffolding
• Window cleaning accident prevention

JCS safety leader inspects all of our equipment. These equipment inspections are documented per OSHA requirements. We also conduct monthly safety meetings that review:

• Training videos
• Equipment use and inspections
• Rescue techniques

JCS is proud to be a charter member of the International Window Cleaning Certification Institute (IWCCI).
